First weekend

“First Weekend” It was horrible weekend here in Denman. Start from frost, blue sky, horizontal rain, thunder, hail and wind. The cellar door will be open tomorrow again 10 am to 4:30 pm. From next week, the cellar door is open Friday to Monday, 4 days a week.

Where is 2014 Shiraz?

“Where is 2014 Shiraz?” The answer is  – in Barrels –  French oak, Tight grain (check how tight it is), Medium to Medium + toast, New and Old barrels. Racked once, but still need more time.

Rain works good!

Rain works good! Had 42 mm of rain over the weekend! Rain made the soil soft and my job easier. I love this super tool!!
