New member have joined to the Merton Vineyard. Clone 96 own roots Chardonnay, 2,500 vines are planted. These youngsters will be shoot shortly. Keep an eyes on update 😉

I feel like the 2016 vinetage is just around the corner. See one of block of Chardonnay children and block 9. It is coming….    

August is coming every year with WIND. Day gets longer, warmer during day, but still some frost in the morning. We will have a bit more quiet time before chaos comes quickly.  

It is still cold, but spring is just around the corner. It was frosty morning, but daffodil, violet, nasturtium, Alyssum, marigold, and peach are flowering happily! It’s been 34 weeks since a tiny buds are introduced into this Merton Vineyard. They have been growing up nicely and it’s sleeping now in cold winter here in Upper Hunter NSW. And of course, we are pruning while they are sleeping…..
